Primary
Did I tell you that I got called to the Primary presidency? I am the second counselor. I am liking it a lot. I work with some wonderfully awesome women.
It has been interesting the past few weeks, though. Why? Because Preston is now a sunbeam! Can you believe it? The last few weeks of last year they visited primary during music time to help the kids get used to being in the primary room and I was conducting and doing sharing time one of those weeks. Preston was okay for a few minutes but then he had to be right next to me and threw himself down on the ground when it was time to go back to nursery. It wasn't pretty. So we decided that I wouldn't conduct all of January to give Preston a chance to get used to being a sunbeam. Each week has gotten a little better but they sure start out rough! Luckily he has wonderful teachers. That helps a lot.
After primary is done our ward puts the chairs in the primary room away and Preston loves to help with that. He folds up the little chairs and gives them to someone bigger saying "here ya go!" It's pretty cute.
Preston is a pretty cute kid. He sure tries our patience sometimes but other times he is super sweet. We love him a lot. Hannah loves him, too. When Preston comes up to her she gets the biggest grins. It is fun to see.
Hannah is growing so fast, too. Four months old! She loves to roll from her back to her tummy but she gets a little frustrated that she can't go anywhere after that. She likes to chew on things but hasn't quite figured out how to keep things in her mouth yet. I'm sure it won't be long. I will have to upload some pictures, huh?
Bradley is keeping busy with work. He was actually out of town a lot right after Hannah was born, which was hard. I called my mom to come over a lot. But we got through it. Bradley leaves in a week for Montreal, Canada, to open a new call center. It will be a long month. Thank goodness for video chatting.
Anyway. This is a fairly random post but hey, it's something. I'll try to keep posting.
Hugs to all.
