Preston Stuff
I need to blog more about some of the things Preston says and does. He is a funny kid, I tell ya.
Preston loves, loves, loves the Mormon Tabernacle Choir. Many times throughout the day he says to me "Go watch a choir?" He wants to come into the office and watch YouTube videos of the MoTab choir. Lucky me has two displays for the computer so I can sit and read facebook or blogs or whatever while on a separate monitor he watches his videos. Works pretty well. I have eight different tabs open of MoTab songs that he likes. I think it's funny that he asks for specific songs.
"Sees sees" is for Call of the Champions by John Williams. It was written for the Olympics when they were in Salt Lake. "Hayayayayaya" is for the Hallelujah Chorus. "Temple Choir" is Come Thou Fount because the choir is standing in front of the Nauvoo Temple singing it. "Caserve" is Called to Serve. "Ahbouya" is All Creatures of our God and King. He has a word for Pioneer but I can't thing right now what it is but it's for Saints Bound for Heaven. And sometimes he says "Any Choir?" so I just pick one.
Anyway. I listen to a lot of MoTab while on the computer. Preston sits next to me with a wooden knife in one hand and a comb in the other and "leads" the choir. Bradley and I joke that he will direct the choir one day. That would be okay with me! He really loves music and sings along with a lot of the songs. He doesn't know all the words, of course, but he gets the sounds right in the right places. It's fun to see and hear. He is a super cute little boy!
Yesterday Preston made me laugh. He went into the kitchen and I heard him open the fridge. Usually that is fine, he is just getting his sippy cup of milk out. Sometimes he lingers too long and I have to call to him to remind him to close the fridge. This time, after being in the fridge, he came running to me with something other than his sippy cup. It was a jar of grape jelly. He says "make a sanwich?" Sounds harmless but this kiddo will NOT eat sandwiches. (Pickiest kid EVER.) So I realized he wanted me to make myself a sandwich because usually, when I have one for lunch, I also have some potato chips and ranch dip with it. He just wanted some chips and dip! Or "dip dip" as he calls it. Or sometimes he even calls it "dip dip dip dip." So cute. And smart. He knew that if his plan worked, he would get chips! I gotta watch that kid.
He is funny about my belly, too. If he notices my belly or sees it because I am getting dressed or something he will say "Baby Hannah!" And now, if I ask what she is doing he says "growing n growing n growing!" Only cuter. But it makes me smile.
Okay. Enough for now. But I will try to write more about some of the fun things Preston does. Partly so I don't forget and partly to share with you! I hope you like to hear a good mommy brag from time to time because you are gonna get them. :)

So cute! I'm glad Aislyn isn't the only one who doesn't like sandwiches. :)
Mommy brags are the best. :) That's cute that he likes Mo Tab so much.
