So, Did I Ever Tell You....
About the time that I scored major points with both my dad and my father in law? At the same time? It was awesome.

Our stake had a Pioneer Day shindig this year. We invited Bradley's dad, Jack, to come and eat with us. Because what else do Mormons do, except eat? They were having fried chicken and corn on the cob. Mmm. And ice cream bars. (Which was funny, because they forgot to bring coolers to keep them cold so they were passing them out to people in line for the regular food before they melted. Funny.)
Anyway. The dad's played with Preston while Bradley and I stood in line (forever, I might add) for food. We loaded up a couple plates and went back to our chairs. As the dads started in on their corn one said "If only we had a salt shaker."
So I reached into my bag and voila! A salt shaker! You should have seen their faces! It was great! And then, I pulled out a container of real butter! They were almost speechless. I had thought to bring the two things you always wish you had when you eat corn at a place like that: real butter and salt. Yes! I am awesome!
One of them (and I think it was MY dad) even said "I take back all the bad things I ever said about you!" Tee hee hee! Yay me!
I was just so tickled that I did something so fun for them. I grinned and giggled like the nerd that I am. And I just wanted to share.
