Happy New Year!

Happy first day of 2013! All day yesterday Preston kept saying "this is our last day." And I kept having to clarify (out loud, for my own sake) that it was the last day of 2012. And then today he kept saying "Today is our first day." That kiddo loves dates and times. I think his watch is his favorite Christmas present. He is always checking it and telling us what time it is, which is why it will not go to church or school with him. His teachers thank me, they just don't know it yet. Ha! We had a good Christmas. Kind of mellow, my parents were sick so it was just our little family. The kids had fun and we took naps. Just like Christmas should be, right? We had spent Christmas Eve morning with the Kindall family, having brunch, making an ornament and just talking and playing. I love it. We spend that evening with Brandon and Tangi Winters and their kids playing games and eating yummy food. I loved it. It was a wonderful day. We spent New Year's Eve there, too. My parents were kind enough to let the kids stay the night at their house so we didn't have to worry about being home too late. It was nice. I really am blessed in life. So many little things that equal a wonderful life. ** Again, my paragraphs are not showing up. I'm sorry. Stupid blogger.
