Playing catch up

Life is treating us pretty well, keeping us busy but happy. Bradley is working hard and still traveling a fair amount. December had him in Montreal, Canada for three weeks. I got to go up for a weekend and we met in Connecticut, where his brother Paul lives. We got to spend a day in NYC! It was pretty cool and I hope to be able to go back someday.  He started off the year in Beijing China for a couple weeks in January. I think he was in Utah at some point in the spring and last month, May, he was in Florida for three weeks. I was thrilled to go spend a weekend with him again. We had a blast and I will have to do a post about all the fun things we did. Then we had him home for five whole days before he had to leave for Utah again. At least he can drive home on weekends. But we will all be glad to have a break from all the traveling and hopefully Bradley can stay home for awhile!

I am still hanging out at home with the kids and loving it. I am also still in the Primary presidency. It sure is a blast, I love the kids in our ward.

Preston is 4 1/2 and growing. He is super smart. At least, I think so! He still has a whole year before he can start kindergarden so I hope to get him into some sort of preschool. He is smart but needs work on his fine motor skills and a lot of work on social skills. The poor kid, I am a bit lazy and we stay home a lot. I should really set up play dates with other kids his age in the ward. Once he learns how to work with others and write his letters, I think he will really fly through school!

Hannah is 21 months old and growing super fast, too. She sometimes blows me away with the things she says and knows. I don't remember Preston picking up on things quite this fast. Her memory amazes me. She loves to play and is starting to sing the ABC song and Twinkle twinkle. It's pretty cute. Hannah is a much better eater than Preston. She will try almost anything and likes most of it. And her curly hair! So adorable!

Again, I am torn on blogging. I know no one reads and that this is pretty much just for me. But do I really want to do this? I guess it's more of my laziness coming out. I really ought to post more and put up pictures. I kind of do on facebook but I also try not to be one of those moms who posts tons of stuff about their kids so that people get sick of it. Anyway. I will try to post more. And whine less. Really. Gotta go, Hannah is waking up. And soon we get to watch the daddy show on tv (video chat with Bradley). Yay!
