I'll admit it...
I think I kind of figured out why I don't blog as much as other people. There are a few reasons.
1. Guilt. I feel guilty that I don't blog more often. That makes me not want to blog for some reason. Kind of a catch 22. Dumb, I know, but it's true.
2. My life if boring. Seriously. I feel like I have nothing to blog about. I think part of this is because I consider this my personal blog, not a family blog. Maybe if I changed my approach, it would be easier for me to blog. I may have to do that.
3. Timing. Most of the time that I think of something to blog, I am nowhere near the computer or I'm lying in bed trying to fall asleep. My memory plays a part in this also, because I can never remember later what I was going to blog about.
4. I don't take a lot of pictures and therefore, don't feel like I have a lot of good pictures to post. I used to be so good about taking pictures all the time but I have slacked off lately. And for some reason, I have it in my head that a good blog post has good pictures. I guess I will have to learn to be happy either posting without pictures or with so-so pictures. And my two readers will have to be happy with that.
5. Comments. I know, this one is totally a fluff reason. But I feel like, if I am not getting any comments on things I do post, that no one is reading and what is the point of posting? I think it must be a validation thing. So if you love me, post a comment. Even if it's just to tell me you read. Or that you like the weather today. Whatever.
6. Laziness. Yup, I'll admit it. I love to read other blogs but get downright lazy about making time to do my own. I'll try to do better.
Okay so this is helps me to see why I don't blog. I think even getting it out there might help me. I just need to forget about what amazing blogs other people have and make my blog my own. I promise to try. Okay. Whining over. Hopefully. :)

Wow, I think I could post most of that on my blog too because I share many of the same feelings about blogging as you. :) The main thing is the comments - I have had a whopping total of 4 comments period since I started blogging in February or so. Who wants to take the time to blog if no one else cares? I do read your blog by the way, even if I don't comment on it. :) And it's still good even if there are no pictures.
Hi Kathryn, keep blogging. Even if nobody comments, do it for YOU - Kind of like a journal. Pictures are nice but don't let that stop you! (Now I need to go post something on mine.)
