Just Another Little Update

Sorry, no pictures this time. But it has been a long time since I have blogged. Preston and I are settled in at my parents house in the mother-in-law suite. It is nice to have our own little space where I can let his toys spread out and keep them out of the main part of the house. It is also nice to have people around to lend a hand sometimes. Preston loves his grandma and especially his grandpa. They are super cute together, playing games and wandering the backyard. Grandpa likes to teach him all sorts of things I never would and encourages him to blow spitty raspberries and such. Boys will be boys, I guess.

Preston is almost eight months old now. He crawls all over the place pretty quickly and pulls himself up on all the furniture. He has even started walking the furniture, holding on as he goes and even transferring from one thing to another. Darn kid, stop growing up! I'm not ready for all this! Preston also has two teeth now. He cut the first one fairly easily but that second one must have hurt a bit. He was not a happy camper. But we made it. And his smiles are all the cute now.

This really isn't where I saw myself at this point in my life. But I have a good support system in my family and friends and feel like I will be okay. Life throws us curve balls sometimes, that is for sure. I just wanted to let you all know that I am okay. I have rough days sometimes but try not to let it get me down very long. Preston keeps me busy and therefore a little more focused on what is important. Okay. Update over. Carry on.
