Thoughts After a Hard Day
I have found myself saying this a couple times and I am sure I will say it again - "Being a mom is hard work."
Preston and I had a really rough day today. He felt yucky and cried a lot. I cried, too, not knowing what was wrong. We finally figured things out and both got much needed naps but MAN!
When it is happening, it sucks!
But at the end of the day, I feel a little different. Thankful we made it, thankful for my sweet boy. Thankful that Heavenly Father trusts me with him (although sometimes I still wonder...) and thankful that Preston knows I love him.
I think my new phrase will be this -
"Being a mom is a humbling experience."
Just my thoughts for the day.
